Excellent freehub. I received an all black 6-pawl version rather than the red shown. My previous 4-pawl novatec freehub had a non standard cassette spline depth from back to shoulder of 36.3mm which resulted in minimal thread engagement for the 11-speed cassette lockring. I destroyed 2 lockrings over the life of the 4-pawl freehub due to this non standard depth issue. This was the primary reason why I purchased this 6-pawl freehub, which thankfully meets the standard depth of 36.8mm. It fit the novatec hub perfectly and has noticeably quicker engagement and is louder than the previous 4-pawl freehub. If you’re looking for a replacement novatec B2 type freehub, this is the one to get.
